Peblar chargers are now ready for a charging reward via Stekker

Peblar chargers can now be paired with Stekker, which earns you a reward for the electricity you charge at home. Whether yours qualifies depends on the model, because it needs a certified meter inside.

Why that meter is needed

The reward is paid per kilowatt hour you charge at home. For those kilowatt hours to count, the charger has to measure them with a meter certified for the purpose, a MID meter. Without one there is no proof of what was charged, so there is nothing to register.

What your Peblar can do

Model MID meter For Reward possible
Home Plus standard home yes
Business standard business yes
Dual standard business yes
Home none home no

Three of the four models qualify. For home charging that leaves the Home Plus. Peblar is phasing that model out and no longer sells it new, but existing units stay supported. If one is already on your wall, nothing changes.

If you have a Peblar Home there is no certified meter inside, so no reward can be calculated over your sessions.

How to pair your Peblar

You set Stekker as the operator once, in the charger’s web interface. Allow about ten minutes, most of which is waiting for two restarts. After that you leave the settings alone. The steps are in Connecting your Peblar charger to Stekker.

What to do

Sign up with Stekker and pair your charger afterwards. If you are unsure whether yours qualifies, use the charger check.
