Peblar chargers work with Stekker. Your charger connects straight to Stekker, with no third party such as a charge point operator (CPO) in between.
How the connection works
In your Peblar’s installation settings, pick Stekker under Backoffice. From then on your charger sends its charging and meter data straight to Stekker over OCPP, and we track your kWh so you can earn ERE certificates.
You get the full step-by-step guide for your model in your Stekker ERE dashboard the moment you connect your charger. You will need your Peblar charger ID. It always starts with PBLR- followed by seven digits, for example PBLR-0054321. You will find it on the code label supplied with your charger, on the label on the side of the charger, and as the name of the Wi-Fi network the charger broadcasts.
Which Peblar models can earn ERE certificates?
To earn ERE certificates your charger needs an MID-certified kWh meter.
- Peblar Home: no built-in MID meter, so no ERE certificates.
- Peblar Home Plus: MID meter as standard, ERE certificates possible.
- Peblar Business: MID meter as standard, ERE certificates possible.
- Peblar Dual: MID meter as standard, ERE certificates possible.
Not sure about your model? Take the charger check or look at the list of chargers with an MID meter.
Smart charging
Through this connection Stekker currently reads your charging data for ERE certificates. Controlling your charging session, in other words smart charging, is still in development for Peblar.
Charging sessions from before you signed up
The connection forwards data from the moment you set it up. Sessions from before that can be exported from your Peblar. We are still waiting for confirmation from the Dutch Emissions Authority that this export is suitable for earning ERE certificates retroactively.
