How to get a charging reward with your NexBlue
Over OCPP, from the charger itself
In your NexBlue settings you enter the address Stekker gives you once you have signed up. The charger then talks to Stekker directly. Nothing about your installation changes and no electrician has to come round.

Which NexBlue earns EREs?
A charger can only earn EREs with a built-in, MID-certified meter. At NexBlue the Edge Max and the Delta Max have one as standard. The Edge 2 and the Delta do not. This comes from our catalog and refreshes after every deploy.

The Edge Max charges from 1.4 to 22 kW, single or three phase, and has a built-in meter carrying an EU type-examination certificate under the measuring instruments directive. That is exactly the certification needed for your kilowatt hours to count.
How to tell which NexBlue you have
- Check which model is on your chargerThe model is printed on the charger and shown in the NexBlue app. Edge is the home charger, Delta the business one.
- Look for the word MaxThe Max version has the MID meter on board. Without it there is no meter, so no reward can be calculated.
- Still not sure?Run the charger check, which tells you in one screen whether yours qualifies.
NexBlue is a northern European manufacturer headquartered in Stockholm, with offices in Eindhoven, London, Norway and Denmark. Its chargers speak OCPP 1.6-J and 2.0.1, do dynamic load balancing, and can charge on your solar surplus with the Zen module.
