How do I see my ERE revenue?

In the Stekker portal you see your estimated ERE revenue, your ERE credits and your charged kWh. Plus the difference between estimated and realized revenue.

In the Stekker portal

You see your ERE revenue in the Stekker portal. You do not need the Stekker app for it.

The start page shows:

  • Estimated revenue: what you are estimated to receive after the commission, across all your mandates and chargers.
  • ERE credits: how many EREs your charged kWh yield. If evidence is missing for a charger, or a charger earns no EREs, you see this in the breakdown.
  • Charged: the number of kWh you have charged.
  • Chargers: your chargers, and for each charger whether it earns EREs.

Under View sessions you see your charging sessions. For a business organisation the start page also shows the kWh charged per day.

The Your ERE mandate page shows your address, EAN code, payout details and the term. There you also download your mandate as a PDF. It states the commission that applies to you.

Estimated and realized revenue

There are two kinds of amounts:

  • Estimated (indicative): what you are estimated to earn based on your charging sessions so far. This is the amount you see in the portal.
  • Realized: what was definitively established after a quarter closed and is being paid (or has been paid) into your account. This is a fixed amount.

Stekker decides on its own when and at what price EREs are traded. Revenue is only final after the sale.

For your tax return

ERE revenue is taxable income. For individuals typically Box 1 (other work-related income); for businesses regular business income. Ask your accountant or the Dutch tax authority which category applies to you. Stekker cannot provide tax advice.

Where does it come from?

Netherlands only. This article describes Stekker’s ERE proposition, which relies on Dutch market infrastructure: the Nederlandse Emissieautoriteit (NEa), IBAN-based bank transfers and Dutch tax regulations. Stekker currently only offers ERE participation to Dutch residents and businesses.
