An owners’ association (VvE) can apply for ERE for the chargers on the building’s communal connection. A resident with a charger on their own connection signs up themselves.
One authorisation per connection
Stekker works with one authorisation per EAN code, the number of the connection the chargers are on. That authorisation can cover one or more chargers. The payout goes to one IBAN.
Which situation fits yours?
| Situation | Who signs up | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| Chargers on the communal connection | The owners’ association, as a business | To the association’s account |
| Charger on a resident’s own connection | The resident, as a private individual | To the resident’s account |
Signing up as an owners’ association
For ERE, an owners’ association is a business. In the sign-up form, choose Business under “Who are you?” and fill in:
- the association’s name as registered with the Chamber of Commerce
- the association’s Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number
- the EAN code of the communal connection
- an IBAN in the association’s name
Whoever signs on behalf of the association declares to be authorised to represent it. Stekker may then ask the association to cooperate within fourteen days with the formalities the NEa attaches to an authorisation, such as confirmation via eHerkenning.
The fourteen-day cooling-off period applies to consumers only, not to an owners’ association.
The proceeds
Stekker pays out to the association’s account. How the association divides that among its members is for the association to decide.
The full terms are in ERE mandate and terms.
