Stekker has experience with smart charging
Stekker has been working with smart charging since 2018, matching charging behaviour to financial gain. On 1 January 2026 the home charging reward for consumers was added to that.
- Registered with the NEa. Stekker is an issuer of Emission Reduction Units and may report home-charged consumption on behalf of consumers and businesses. One kilowatt-hour charged at home yields 0.33269 ERE, following the NEa calculation method for delivery year 2026.
- Selected by the joint grid operators. Stekker was chosen as a market party for Netbewust Thuisladen, the programme through which the grid operators let home charging move with the electricity grid.
- Active since 2018. Stekker has been steering charge points ever since, from a single charger at home to charging hubs on one connection.
- What we charge is fixed. 15% commission on your ERE reward, 25% when smart charging on sun and price is added. No subscription, no fixed costs, payout to your own IBAN, stop whenever you want.
- Your revenue is held separately. What your ERE’s bring in, we hold in a separate account.
Every sale is in the logbook
We publish every ERE sale with date, volume and price. That way you can check for yourself where your reward comes from.
