Additional benefitsPriority for the charge points outside the warehouse. This way, essential business vehicles get priority over charge points servicing the general parking lot.

Also, Kremer uses charging on a dynamically priced contract.

At first, Kremer wanted to gain experience with an Energy Management System that supported smart charging. So it reached out to Stekker after hearing about us through a customer. We started off with a pilot, after which Kremer got to experience the joys and benefits of smart charging at their headquarter location.

Kremer owns a massive PV (solar) installation on its roof and wanted to utilise their solar energy more intelligently. Additionally, the location is billed on a dynamic energy contract, so it is interesting for them to charge at favorable times when prices are lower. As long as business priorities come first – with installers coming and going with their electric vehicles.

“We started with ten sockets, and who knows, we may expand that further in the future. That is exactly why we chose Stekker.”

Jesse Mom – Project manager at Kremer

Kremer is eager to start monitoring its the contracted capacity also. “We came close to our limit a few times last winter,” sustainability advisor Jesse Mom tells Stekker. “. “It’s reassuring to know that Stekker can manage this effectively in the future.”

The people at Kremer enjoy working with Stekker: “It’s great to be involved with an innovative party like Stekker and to see how we can strengthen each other as an installation company,” says Mom.

Stekker listens to as many as twenty different metrics — from self-consumption and capacity limit monitoring to the internal specifics of a location. Being able to prioritise certain vehicles is also a real plus for Kremer.
